The Mahana Art Garden

This project is an extensive redevelopment of the grounds around an existing project that was already underway. The conceptual development of the garden involved working closely with Min Hall of Arthouse Architecture, responsible for the design coordination and involved with the redevelopment of the house and sauna.

The client has very strong and varied ideas on what is to be included in the development. A significant and challenging component of the design phase involved filtering images that had been passed on to us for consideration, coming up with a strong design proposal that reflected the character of the buildings and owner, accommodated the many varied ideas put to us and achieved an overall cohesive design proposal.
