Richmond Foothills - Suburban bliss

A new house on a unique site located overlooking an established stormwater detention pond to the south and extensive views of the Tasman Ranges to the north provided the features the house was responding to. This also provided a fantastic opportunity for the outdoor area to provide for a variety of uses and characters.

Outdoor areas and 'perching' walls created simple extensions to the inside social spaces, providing opportunity to easily engage with the interesting environment that surrounded the site.
